Angel Fund Donations

Angel FundThere is no greater gift you can give then essential medical care and surgeries to pets in need. Due to your generosity, we started our own Angel Fund program. Our goal is to be able to quickly provide medical care for deserving pet owners unable to completely pay for the critical care needs of their pets that are suffering from serious illness or acute injury. The Angel Fund helps make that possible.

This year EBAH deposited $2500 into the Angel Fund. We welcome any and all donations. Due to the modest size of our Angel Fund program it is not established as a tax exempt charitable organization. The accounting and record keeping expenses for this size of fund would not be efficient use of donations intended to help needy pets.

If you would like to make a donation, please make checks out to:
Elliott Bay Animal Hospital and please specify that it is a donation to the Angel Fund.

Angel Fund Personal Stories and Photos

Vince'Vince (Jimmy Bill)' - When Dr. Kimmel examined Jimmy Bill, she discovered a seriously rotted tooth and a large abscess. She was concerned about the cost of repairing Jimmies mouth and of course, my previous loss. Could I take a risk on Jimmy and afford the added cost? I love cats and couldn't stand the thought of the possibility of Jimmy's mouth never being taken care of. I think that Emily would want another cat to have a chance. I insisted and I was told that The Angel Fund would pay for some of the charges. What a Blessing!

HenriHi, my name is 'Henri' and I'm almost six months old in this photo. I really want to thank Dr. Karen Myhre and the entire team at Elliott Bay Animal Hospital for saving my life. On the morning that I started to feel really bad, my big sister Bella (she's a Westie too) told me to hang on and Dr. Myhre would figure out what was wrong so I could feel better. Bella told me last year when she was feeling really cruddy and was very scared, Dr. Myhre diagnosed Addison's Disease and helped her get well.

George'George' - Many years ago, Bill started researching dogs. He had a book about terriers and decided on a silky. He drove to Kirkland to check out a litter. George was one of two left in the litter. He came up to Bill and kissed him. That was that and they have been a two-some every since.

Kenzie'Kenzie' - When we adopted Kenzie as a puppy she was an abandoned "Lab Husky mix" who was found in a dumpster in Woodinville. She came home with multiple ailments. Three years after first bringing her home, she's become a "Flat Coated Retriever Husky mix," who has, despite everything she's been through, remained happy and optimistic.
