'George'
Many years ago, Bill started researching dogs. He had a book about terriers and he decided on a
silky. When he saw an ad in the paper he drove to Kirkland to check out a litter. George was
one of two left in the litter. He came up to Bill and kissed him. That was that and they have been a
two-some every since. Bill says he didn't know who needed who more.
George is a 15 year old Yorkshire Terrier with chronic ear and skin issues. He has been visiting EBAH
since 1994, and has been getting his ear and skin treatments for almost as long. George has had special
food for his allergies, weekly medicated baths, many episodes of ear medication, and an enormous amount
of love and care from his owner. (We love him an awful lot, too!)
In December of 2006, despite the many episodes of medications that he tolerated over the years, George's ears were in great need of surgery. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our "Angels", George's owner was able to continue giving him the care he needed.
George and his owner thank you for your assistance and help. The surgery was a wonderful success and George's ears are much improved!
