After living all over the country and in Switzerland,
Kaylee finally settled in the Seattle area about 11 years ago. Formerly an Elliott Bay employee, Kaylee returned in 2009. "I love animals: my past includes interning at a zoo when I was in college, volunteering at an animal shelter and owning a dog walking/cat sitting business. I love dogs, but I am a crazy cat lady at heart. I have two dogs and six cats. The baby of the family is my fat, sassy, black cat named Frank, who is super adorable, spoiled rotten and oversees my work in the garden."
Ashley moved to Seattle after finishing her B.A. in sociology from CU Boulder. She came to EBAH first as a client and loved it so much that she decided to work here! She loves her job as an ACA because EBAH boarders are like an extension of her own animal family! When not working, Ashley spends most of her time hanging out with "Turtle" (an Alaskan Malamute), "Barney" (a German Shepherd/Corgi mix), "Paul" (a Persian cat) and 4 crazy rats!
Kara is pretty sure her first word was “Ruff” but her mom doesn’t want to believe it. Kara grew up in a rural neighborhood with 3 acres in Issaquah, WA and almost every animal in the woods knew her! She spent her days roaming the woods with her Lab/Dingo mix named “Puddles” and always dreamed of working with animals. Kara spends her free time working as a dog trainer when she’s not caring for the pets at Elliott Bay. She lives with her two orange Tabby cats “Hunny” and “Simba” and a Catahoula Leopard dog named “Zeke”.
