April 2008: We are in the process of training new animal care team members. To preserve the high quality care we give your pets while boarding, we need to temporarily reduce the total number of boarding animals in the hospital. We encourage you to make boarding reservations early. We apologize for any inconvenience.

20 Minute Exercise Walk Welcome and thank you for choosing Elliott Bay Animal Hospital for your pet's boarding needs.

We provide a full-service boarding facility. While boarding, your pet benefits from the on-site supervision of our skilled veterinarians in monitoring your pet's health and well-being. We recognize you are trusting us with a member of your family when we care for your pet in your absence. Our primary goal is to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and happy! Our Animal Care team works closely with each pet in our care.

Kitty CondosOur canine and feline boarders enjoy fully air-conditioned and heated areas and our large kennels have radiant heated flooring. Our trained staff monitors your pets thoroughly by recording their daily activity, appetite and eliminations.

For the safety of the pets in our care, all animals entering Elliott Bay Animal Hospital must have had a physical exam from one of our doctors within one year, must be current on all vaccines, and be free from internal and external parasites.

We provide a variety of prescription and nonprescription diets, toys and treat, and bedding. All of which are included while your pet is boarding with us. If your pet is on a diet that we do not carry, please bring that food with you from home. It is always best to keep your pet on the same diet to which they are accustomed. We can also administer any necessary medications or vitamin supplements.

All of the dogs are walked out to our outdoor runs 3-4 times daily. All of our cats are given time to explore our cat ward (if they so desire).

In order to provide the best care possible, we want to get to know your pet on a personal level. Please tell us what we can do to make this experience more pleasurable for your pet. Let us know if your pet needs extra blankets, extra playtime or extra trips outside. If you have multiple pets, and they prefer to board together, we have larger dog runs and cat cottages to accommodate your animal family.

Tristan loves to RUNMost dogs are more active at home than they are while boarding. Exercise can help reduce stress and anxiety. In order to give your pet more exercise, we offer off-site walks for an additional charge.

The walk is 20 minutes around the lower neighborhood of Queen Anne. We use chest harnesses and carefully pair up "energy compatible" dogs.
We have lots of fun!!

All baths include a brush out before and after, nail trim, anal gland expression and wiping of ears and eyes. Prices range from $30.00 - $50.00.

Boarding tours available daily! 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
