Karon, Front Office Manager, started at EBAH after moving to Washington in August of 1998 from Anchorage, Alaska where she was born and raised. Karon has always enjoyed helping others and feels EBAH is the perfect place live her "second life." Her "first life" is spent with her family which consists of her husband, daughter and son........and 3 super cute cats, Baby, Dizzy and Diesel!
Deborah joined the team at Elliott Bay Animal Hospital in August 2001. After working in the Hotel Industry for several years, she decided to follow her heart and work with animals. Throughout her childhood, while growing up in the country, Deborah was blessed to have had many family pets. She currently has 4 cats and 2 dogs. Deborah foresees herself living back in the country someday with a barn full of horses, chickens, cats, dogs, ducks and a goat.
Chaya made her way to the Elliott Bay team in August of 2004, and promptly made herself at home. She has a runty kitty with a stubby tail named Nora, who has a fondness for catching moths. Chaya spends her time away from EBAH volunteering, gardening, swimming, and making things.
Jacob lives in Fremont with his lovely wife and a leopard Gecko. He has worked at Elliott Bay since 2004 and loves helping out all the furry patients and their owners.
After a lifetime of moving around,
Jennifer Uhrich has finally found her home in Seattle, Washington. Likewise, after ten years of food service she has found a new home at EBAH where she can indulge her fondness for people of the furry persuasion. Jenny currently has one 20 pound Yorkie and hopes to eventually have a whole pack of giant Yorkshire terriers.
Marlo was so impressed with EBAH as a client, that Marlo decided to come work here! She thinks that the people here are GREAT and she is a big fan of all the pets but especially the giant breeds we see! When she is not at work, Marlo likes to spend her time playing drums, singing, and dancing with her human friends.
Jessica, Hospital Assistant grew up in Philadelphia where her family fostered rescued Pit Bulls. She went to the University of Alaska Fairbanks, spent a year of study abroad in New Zealand and worked with race horses in New Mexico before moving to Seattle. Aside from dogs and horses, she is passionate about the Orcas making their home in the Puget Sound area. Currently she spends her free time with her spoiled rotten Chihuahua mix Dobby.
Antoinette, Hospital Assistant, hails from the great land of Conneticut - that far away land mass between New York City and Boston. She settled in Seattle about 8 years ago and found her way to Elliott Bay Animal Hospital in 2008. After volunteering at the Seattle Animal Shelter for several years, she realized she needed to work with animals everyday. In her spare time she enjoys salsa dancing, bouldering, hiking and shenanigans with her friends. She shares her home with an itty btty pitty named Bam Bam, and two mischievous felines Matilda and Ozzy.
